  • Operation of Thermal power Stations, as team leader in shift duties, to get best possible PLF & efficiency
  • Maintenance and plant betterment activities for minimum down time of equipment , improvement of efficiency using on line instruments including analytical instrumentation and auto controls .I was tam leader as AE &EE of more than 100 persons in my unit
  • Preparation of Project reports for renovation and modernization of all the six thermal Power stations of UPSEB, to get approval of competent authorities including BOD, financial institutions like PFC, monitoring implementation of the R&M project using MS Project 98 software. There was 12% increase in PLF dur to R&M of units of Obra TPS within a year. The focus of activities was on reduction in cost per unit and higher PLF

Activities Performed

  • review of international consultant’s report, in coordination with managers at site, prepare project report for activities essential for optimum utilization of Units
  • commissioning of C&I equipment activities in coordination with erectors, other departmental heads of Boiler, Turbine, Electrical equipment
  • creation of new maintenance unit for commissioned units of Anpara 3*210 Mw
  • ¢ team leader of operation crew for power generation
  • ¢ coordination with suppliers for balance C&I equipment not commissioned or not functioning as per contract
  • ¢ Coordianated activities with Government, consultant Price Waterhouse Coopers, problem solving of one lac employees
